SPEED. EXCITEMENT. ADRENALINE. Go-Karts Orihuela Costa offers a safe family-friendly environment to enjoy fast-paced and competitive motorsports whatever the weather.
The venue offers a multitude of activities, two different racing tracks, and racing karts and quad-bikes in a variety of riding styles and levels of performance.
A dedicated junior track offers children up to the age of 10 years a safe racing experience under the supervision of a motorsport marshal, whilst a full-size championship track offers adults the high-octane thrills of karting.
Children aged 10 years or over are welcome to participate in races held on the championship track, and adults can choose from standard 270 cc karts, a double kart that accommodates the driver and a copilot, or a high-performance Honda 400 cc racing kart.
The championship racing track is a twisting network of asphalt with high-speed straights and tightly spiralled hairpins with a capacity for up to 26 drivers at any one time, complemented by a digital scoreboard and viewing bridge.
Karting is organised in to open groups with family and friends racing against other drivers, or in closed sessions for pre-booked groups containing a number of people.
Go-Karts Orihuela Costa: annual Grand Prix tournament in the 8th year
Each year in December the centre organises an annual Grand Prix to find the best driver.
Now in its eighth year, 63 drivers gathered at the centre at the end of last year to battle it out to be named overall karting champion. In addition to the accolade, the victorious driver won a complimentary meal for two at the neighbouring Arrocería el Sarmiento restaurant.
Go-Karts Orihuela Costa has a separate and dedicated quad track, with a choice of adult and junior quads for all kids (big and small) over the age of 7 years.
The venue organises off-site quad routes throughout the season. Typically lasting in excess of two hours, these routes allow riders to explore some of the most beautiful natural areas around the Orihuela Costa by quad.
A specialised zone offers an urban combat environment for competitive paintball target sports. The terrain is littered with objects that afford tactical cover and a large structural “warehouse” provides a sheltered area for continued play – even in inclement weather.
The centre promises that each battle will be different and unique, highlighting that they use only the finest equipment and paintball markers for safety and accuracy.
The paintball experience offers excellent value too, with a 90-minute session and 100 paintballs costing just €20 per person. For the trigger-happy, an additional 100 paintball refill can be purchased for €4.
Family-friendly venue: racing, paintball, and fun for all ages
Go-Karts Orihuela Costa is a family-friendly leisure environment, and a mini-fair (complete with dodgems), indoor play area, tethered trampolines, and inflatable play areas ensure that little ones are exceptionally well catered for.
A racing-themed restaurant and dedicated bar provide refreshment with a menu of light snacks, and the venue specialises in private hire for birthdays and family celebrations.
Safety equipment is provided for all experiences, and helmets have Go-Pro mounts so be sure to bring your action camera!
Prices for karting start at just €16 for juniors and €21 for adult hire, with the high-performance Honda racing karts costing a little extra at €28.
Go-Karts Orihuela Costa offers a range of group discounts, such as purchase five tickets and get one free, or a full race package for €47 that provides a qualifying session and a 14-lap final race in the high-performance Honda karts.
Open year-round, the Orihuela Costa´s premier racing centre provides the ideal venue for thrill-seeking visitors looking for a broad selection of leisure entertainment.
A consistent history of impeccable TripAdvisor reviews and great value pricing make the attraction a highly recommended and affordable experience that should be a part of your holiday itinerary this coming summer.
