Booking a table won´t be a prescribed legal requirement but it´s highly likely that some bars will choose to make this a requirement for patrons. Nobody will be banned, excepting those with outward signs of respiratory infection or persons subject to quarantine orders.

However, this can change at any time, and there might be allowances for travelling together from Phase One (Monday 11th May) which allows “healthy people with no underlying medical conditions to socialise together in small groups”. But right now, we cannot say for certain.
