In reply to Pamela Povey. Hi Pamela, the main air display is on Sunday, but the static display and open day is on Saturday, with a preliminary air show in the afternoon.

In reply to Thomas Ennis. This event is immensely popular with the Spanish. If you go, prepare to stand in a queue to get into the airbase for quite some time! And make sure you join the end of the queue. Woe betide you if you try to filter in half way along! Take ID, water and a hat with you. Once you are through the gate/security it is a long walk out to the plane exhibition area so comfy shoes.

In reply to Judy. Hi Judy, there's plentiful on-street parking available in the locality, but we're not aware of any official parking for the main display on Sunday.

Do you have to get tickets in advance or can you turn up at The academia.i have worked before my retirement in civil aviation.
