Water parks are a family-friendly favourite for many tourists and visitors to our little part of Spain, but the attractions offer such different experiences that it's worth doing your homework before you commit to buying a ticket.

So here's what's available this summer 2026, with seasonal opening times, the latest ticket prices for all the Costa Blanca water parks, and handy Google Maps to get you there.

Aquopolis Torrevieja | Torrevieja

The largest of the water parks in the south Costa Blanca area, Aquopolis Torrevieja packs 18 wet n' wild rides into one thrilling day out. Charmed Lake, mini zig-zag, and the mini-park provide plenty of entertainment for younger children, while Speed, Boomerang, and Kamikaze provide high-octane thrills for older kids.

Favourites such as Hydro-Racer, the Rapids, the Black Hole, and a wave pool cement Aquopolis's position as a firm summer favourite when the heat is on, and a VIP Zone offers a privileged area for parents and families to unwind in the sun or shade.

Aquopolis offers a wide variety of dining choices on-site, including a dedicated Burger and Pizzeria outlet, an ice-cream parlour, a sandwich bar, and a family-style cafeteria geared towards the tastes of children and hungry sun-drenched families. Visitors are welcome to take their own food and drink into the park, but no glass is permitted.

The best way to visit Aquopolis is by car with 600 free car parking spaces provided. There is no direct bus route from Orihuela Costa, and visitors relying on public transport will need to get a bus to Torrevieja's Habaneras Commercial Centre and make the short 10-minute walk to the water park on foot.

Alternatively, consider booking a taxi to get you there, with an estimated cost of around 20€ each way.

Standard ticket prices cost 32,95€ for an adult, and 28,95€ for a child from 90 – 140 cm. The Speedy Pass costs 38€ per person and reduces queuing time. Access to the Premium and Platinum VIP areas costs 275€ or 340€ for a family of four (excludes entry ticket cost).

Aquopolis Torrevieja opens daily from 11:30 until 18:00 (from 11:00 until 19:00 from 1st July to 24th August). Visitors can also save money by buying online discounted tickets at Aquopolis Torrevieja in advance.

Aquapark Rojales | Ciudad Quesada

Located 20 minutes north of Orihuela Costa by car, Aquapark Rojales in Ciudad Quesada is a highly-regarded choice for family fun in the sun. It might lack the extreme rides offered by adjacent water parks but actually, that is part of the attraction.

Originally opened in July 1986 and the second water park to be established in the Spanish territory, the park offers 21.000 metres of rides, a lawned chill-out zone, a picnic area, a beach bar, and a cafeteria offering a menu of casual finger-food designed to appeal to a younger palate.

Aquapark Rojales is perfectly suited to younger families, or families with children (or adults) with a fear of heights. The entire park is built into the side of a naturally occurring hill, so the high climb-towers needed at some other parks won't be found in Aquapark Rojales.

Staple water park rides such as the Rio Yukatán lazy river, the Amazonia adventure zone, a children's activity lake, and a large pool will entertain little ones and grown-ups alike, and free parking is provided on-site. Summer 2025 ticket prices cost 19€, with children's tickets available for 16€ (4 to 10 years). Concessionary prices are available for persons aged 65 years or older, but please note that Aquapark Rojales never offers promotional discounts or ticket giveaways. The park opens daily throughout the summer from 11:00 until 18:00.

Flamingo Aqua Park | Torrevieja

Small, but packed full of fun, Flamingo Aqua Park in Torrevieja offers an excellent alternative venue for families hoping to avoid the madding crowds of the more popular Costa Blanca water parks at the height of summer.

This local water park is often overlooked, but just like Aquapark Rojales, Flamingo Aqua Park is just perfect for younger and less demanding children who can do without high-octane thrill rides and sky-high climb-towers.

Indeed, visitors expecting the full water park experience are sure to be disappointed, but Flamingo Aqua Park follows a successful recipe of a handful of flumes, a children's activity zone, and a freeform pool for messing around in the water.

Coupled with a snack bar serving a menu of family favourites that won't give Gordon Ramsay sleepless nights, this little water park proves that all you need is sunshine and H2O to have a lot of holiday fun. You'll find the prices reassuringly tiny too, and patrons are welcome to take food (no glass or metal cutlery).

Entrance prices start from 15,50€ for children aged 4-12 with an adult ticket price of 18,50€ per day – sunbed included. Children under 4 years enter free of charge, and special concession tickets cost 15,50€ for visitors over 60 years. The park opens daily from 11:30 until 18:00.

Rio Safari Splash Park | Elche, Costa Blanca

It's hardly surprising to find Rio Safari Park on most visitors' hotlists this summer. The venue houses a variety of exotic fauna, including Jaguars, lions, Bengal Tigers and animals from the African savannah that are undeniably majestic and a wonder to see firsthand.

The adjacent Rio Safari Splash Park, incorporated into the main park, provides 4 swimming pools (2 dedicated to small children), 16 toboggan-style slides, and a host of water attractions for children and adults. The park is perfectly suited to younger children and families.

A self-service restaurant offers a menu of sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas and combo plates. For those who prefer to cater for themselves, a shaded picnic area is on hand for visitors to consume food and beverages brought from home.

Rio Safari Splash Park is only accessible by car, located 40 minutes north of La Zenia in the direction of Elche. In addition to the animal experience and the water attractions, the park offers kart racing, a trampoline zone, and family-focused education and conservation activities for children.

Park admission tickets cost 22,50€ per adult and 17€ for children aged 3-12 years, with discounts for online booking. Access to the Rio Safari Splash Park costs an extra 10€ per person in addition to the main ticket price. The park opens every day from 10:00 until 18:00.

Aqua Natura Water Park | Benidorm

Part of the larger Terra Natura complex, this fully-fledged theme park experience boasts 14 epic rides, with 5 specific attractions suited to young children under 5 years old.

Around 90 minutes north of La Zenia by car, Aqua Natura offers a complete day of entertainment for guests of all ages, and thrill-seekers won't be disappointed with four high-octane water rides and slides designed to elevate the heart rate: Niágara, Speed Hole, Kamikaze, and the zero-gravity La Cresta – a 20-metre high rollercoaster slide.

Naturally, Aqua Natura's splash zones offer an animal theme, and visitors can enjoy educational demonstrations from the “Guardians of the sea”, an immersive and responsive show featuring sea lions. There is a range of leisurely cafeterias and restaurants on-site and a picnic area for visitors to consume their food.

An exclusive VIP zone provides easy front-line beach access to the swimming pool to enjoy with friends and family. The private area has both sun and shade, designed especially for those seeking a restful oasis between dips in the pool. Access costs 150€ and doesn't include the price of admission, keeping this VIP area reassuringly exclusive.

Standard adult ticket prices start at 41€, with children's tickets available from 35€ per person online. Ticket sales for admission on the day cost 5€ more per person, and combination tickets offer money-saving admission to both Terra Natura and Aqua Natura.

Parking is chargeable at 5€ per car per day, and Aqua Natura opens daily from 11:00 until 18:00. Visitors can benefit from discounted prices by booking online beforehand.

Rosa Tours offers coach trips to Aqua Natura six days a week during the summer months, with great value tickets that include return transport and admission to the water park and Terra Natura theme park. Departures from La Zenia and Orihuela Costa.

The acceleration is instant, and the kart's top speed is reached in just a matter of seconds. The sensation of speed is incredibly exhilarating, and it's one of the main reasons why go-karting attracts wannabe racing drivers of all ages.

One of the latest additions to the Costa Blanca go-karting motorsport venues, Go-Karts Ciudad Quesada opened in 2021 and boasts an impressive 1.300-metre track – one of the longest go-kart racing circuits in the Costa Blanca area.

The purpose-built motorsports venue offers a play park for younger children, a casual cafe serving light snacks and refreshments, and “Arroceria El Sarmiento” – an upscale restaurant specialising in traditional Spanish food, authentic wood-fired paellas, and rice dishes.

Go-Karts Orihuela Costa | Playa Flamenca

Go Karts Orihuela Costa offers a multitude of activities, a bespoke championship racing track with a digital scoreboard, and racing karts and quad-bikes in various riding styles and levels of performance.

The venue offers a Go-Fly vertical wind tunnel, a children's play zone with bouncy castles, quad-bike excursions (adults only, valid driving licence required), and a cafeteria serving family-friendly food with a full bar.

Adult prices (16 years or over) start from 25€ per person or 32€ for the high-performance Honda 400cc racing karts. Junior go-kart prices (10 to 15 years) begin at 18€, and go-karting sessions on the separate kid's track (5 to 10 years) cost 11€.

Go-Karts San Fulgencio | Guardamar del Segura

Located 27 km south of Alicante airport at the Gilesias Karting Racing Center, Go-karts San Fulgencio sports a twisting 500m asphalt track, a refreshments bar with a covered chill-out zone, and a fleet of go-karts including the fastest, most powerful go-karts in our part of Spain.

The venue is directly adjacent to the N-332 main coast road, just 20 minutes north of Orihuela Costa. The circuit is one of the most established in the South Costa Blanca region, originally opening in 1989.

Adult prices start from 24€ per person or 29€ for the high-performance karts (minimum 18 years old). Ultra-performance 2-stroke 25 hp racing karts are available from 39€, and junior go-kart prices (minimum 13 years old) start from 18€.

Go-Karts Mar Menor | San Javier

Just 20 minutes south of Orihuela Costa, Go-Karts Mar Menor offers a 1.100m championship track, a giant video scoreboard, and a restaurant and bar with a covered terrace that overlooks the racing circuit.

The family-friendly outdoor go-kart track permits the use of the circuit by all ages, with children as young as 6 years allowed to use the same championship track in sessions separated from adult drivers. Double go-karts are available for a parent and child to race together.

Adult prices start from 19€ per person or 30€ for the high-performance Subaru 400cc 17 hp competition racing karts. Junior go-kart prices (minimum age 12) start from 14€, and low-powered children's go-karts (minimum age 6 years) cost 10€ per child.

The venue offers a multitude of activities, a bespoke racing track, and racing karts and quad-bikes in a variety of riding styles and levels of performance.

A dedicated junior track offers children up to the age of 10 years a safe racing experience under the supervision of a motorsport marshal, whilst a full-size championship track offers adults the high-octane thrills of karting.

Children aged 10 years or over are welcome to participate in races held on the championship track, and adults can choose from standard 270 cc karts, a double kart that accommodates the driver and a copilot, or a high-performance Honda 400 cc racing kart.

The championship racing track is a twisting network of asphalt with high-speed straights and tightly spiralled hairpins with a capacity for up to 26 drivers at any one time, complemented by a digital scoreboard and viewing bridge.

The venue organises off-site quad routes throughout the season. Typically lasting in excess of two hours, these routes allow riders to explore some of the most beautiful natural areas around the Orihuela Costa by quad.

Go Karts Orihuela Costa is a family-friendly leisure environment, complete with a children's play area to ensure that little ones are exceptionally well catered for.

The El Sarmiento Arroceria restaurant and dedicated bar provide refreshments with a menu of light snacks, and an array of authentic wood-fired Spanish paella, and the venue specialises in private hire for birthdays and family celebrations with fixed costs per person.

Safety equipment is provided for all experiences, and helmets have Go-Pro mounts so be sure to bring your action camera!

The minimum age for children on the junior go-kart track is 5-years and 7-years of age for the quad bikes. Children are permitted on the full championship circuit from the age of 16-years.

Off-site quad route prices range from €100 to €130 with a minimum age of 18-years. Riders must have a full and valid EU or UK driving licence, and all safety equipment and a helmet is provided.

Go-Karts Orihuela Costa offers a range of group discounts, such as purchasing five tickets and getting one free, or a full race package for €55 that provides a qualifying session and a 14-lap final race in the high-performance Honda karts.

Just a few minutes by car from La Zenia, The Big Adventure Mini Golf comprises a mini golf course, a garden centre, and its own complete bar.

Kulturas Bar, located adjacent to the golf course, serves various soft drinks and a full bar service, including a range of Spanish Tapas and cocktails.

La Chismosa Pool, Bar and Restaurant | Playa Flamenca

La Chismosa offers a “miniature” mini golf course ideal for younger children or novice golf fans.

But as the name suggests, this venue offers much more, such as a fully stocked bar with a covered terrace and a large free-form swimming pool to enjoy during the summer months.

Murphy's Irish Pub | La Zenia

Not technically a mini golf venue, but particularly noteworthy nonetheless. Murphy's Irish Pub offers a small but charming mini golf course located adjacent to the venue in the Via Park II commercial centre, just opposite Zenia Boulevard.

The tiny course sets the entire theme for the authentic Irish pub and visitors can enjoy a round of mini golf whilst sampling the food and drink on offer.

Part of the Sunrise chain of restaurants, Murphy's Irish Pub in La Zenia is open seven days a week from 10:00 until late.

Pitcher and Putt | Playa Flamenca

One of the latest venues to grace the Orihuela Costa mini-golf scene, Pitcher and Putt opened in the summer of 2023. Lovingly crafted, the course occupies a premium location opposite the Citrus Centre in Playa Flamenca.

Sporting a challenging 18-hole course and a family-friendly bar with a terrace, a game costs €6 per person (children under 6 years play for free) and signature pitchers of Sangria cost just €12. A full bar service is available serving a variety of beverages and soft drinks.

Lo Rufete Multi-Aventura Park | San Miguel de Salinas

Spending your entire holiday at Lo Rufete Adventure Park would be all too easy. There's so much to do here, from horse riding to quad-biking and … mini golf!

Occupying a sliver of land in the centre of Torrevieja, Mini Golf Las Salinas is delectably Spanish and packed with interesting and quirky features.

The spectacular adventure golf venue opened in January 2019, and no expense has been spared to create an aesthetically pleasing and challenging environment with water features, palm trees, and various ornate decorations.

A bar and restaurant offers a daily menu of light bites and refreshments on-site, and a special three-course Sunday roast dinner for just 14,95€ per person at the weekend.

Quesada Mini Golf is open daily from 09:30 until 20:30 during the spring and summer seasons. The kitchen serves food from 10:00 until 15:00.

La Manga Adventure Golf is one of the most recent additions to the Spanish mini-golf circuit, with the venue undergoing a complete remodel in 2020.

Adult golf prices cost 11€ per game with a reduced price of 6€ for children. Special deals and discounts are available with combined golf and meal packages, and discounted rates are offered for groups of 20 players or more.

Located 40 minutes south of La Zenia, La Manga Adventure Golf is open daily from 10:30 until 22:00.

Perhaps nothing will wear out the little ones more than a frenzied afternoon of fun-packed adrenaline-fuelled racing action at Orihuela Costa Go Karts.

This particular local attraction is immensely popular all year round, and with one of the largest tracks in the area and great value prices, it's easy to see why.

It is one of the more exciting things to do, but parents need not worry, the venue is super-safe and well marshalled by a dedicated team of monitors on and off the track.

La Zenia's beaches in La Zenia, Orihuela Costa

La Zenia is home to not one, but two beaches. The main La Zenia beach, Cala Bosque, is large enough that there's plenty of space for everyone even in the height of summer.

It's a great choice for a family day out, with warm safe waters and Blue Flag accreditation certifying the cleanliness and clarity of the beach and its facilities.

During the summer months, the local town hall provides lifeguards, and watersports equipment is available for hire including jet-ski rental and other water skiing.

La Mosca Mini-Golf in Playa Flamenca, Orihuela Costa

Rooftop mini-golf anyone? The spectacular La Mosca Mini-Golf centre is a relatively new addition to the Orihuela Costa entertainment roster, with a refreshed course and a new layout for this year.

The concept is a simple one, with the added twist that the fairways of the mini-golf course occupy a rooftop setting overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

There are plenty of shaded areas to relax out of the sunlight, with a full bar serving drinks for children and adults alike.

Bar Lago Jardin in Los Balcones, Costa Blanca

Sporting one of the largest outdoor swimming pools in the local area, Bar Lago Jardin offers old fashioned family-friendly fun in the sun.

Kids (and grown-ups) will enjoy frolicking in the water all day long, and the super-safe baby pool is huge, surrounded by ornamental toads, slides, and water toys.

As the name might suggest, the on-site facilities include a full bar, and a cafeteria provides a menu of great value food that's popular with families looking for things to do on a budget.

Cine de Verano, Cabo Roig, Orihuela Costa

Quite literally “The Cinema of Summer”, Cine de Verano in Cabo Roig is an open-air outdoor cinema that opens only during the summer months between 1st July and 31st August each year.

The cinema shows family-friendly up-to-date popular movies in addition to classics from Pixar and Walt Disney, action movies and summer blockbusters, with a heavy emphasis on animated movies for children.

Previous titles shown at the Cine de Verano include Tom and Jerry, Free Guy, Fast and Furious 9, and Disney's Jungle Cruise.

Zenia Boulevard in La Zenia, Orihuela Costa

Zenia Boulevard packs more than 100 national Spanish and international shopping brands into an American style shopping mall centred around an Italian style Piazza.

But the mall is more than just the Costa Blanca's favourite shopping centre, and Zenia Boulevard offers live music performances and events year-round.

During the summer months, the venue offers daily entertainment for children, in addition to a bowling alley, a video arcade, and play fountains in the main square.

Campoamor Beach, Playa de la Glea in Orihuela Costa

When it comes to budget things to do, Campoamor takes the biscuit. Three kilometres of unspoilt white sandy beaches lapped by clear Mediterranean waters.

Several bars and restaurants provide food and drink along this part of the coastline, and slides and climbing frames provide entertainment for children.

The beach features an elevated walkway offering some wonderful sea views, and rock pools provide plenty of opportunities for kids to explore the local wildlife. Bucket and spade optional.

I Love Bike bicycle hire in La Zenia, Orihuela Costa

It's actually possible to cycle for many miles along the Mediterranean coastline, and the Orihuela Costa area has one of the longest off-road dedicated cycle lanes in Spain.

It's one of our favourite things to do, it's cheap, safe and family-friendly too. It is a great way to explore the local area and stop by hidden beaches and coves that you might not have otherwise found.
