THE TORREVIEJA STREET FOOD Festival comes to the city for the first time this weekend. The famous “Feria de Foodtrucks” food market has already proven a hit throughout the Costa Blanca and will visit our neighbouring city tomorrow.
The festival brings together vintage food trucks, a DJ, live music from local performing artists, and family-friendly entertainment over the course of the weekend.
The classic specially adapted trucks will serve a selection of street food that embraces global flavours from around the world, including German hotdogs, French-style crepes, Belgian waffles, grilled Argentinian meats, Mexican specialities, and a selection of American and European burgers.
The entertainment kicks off with musical satirist Pablo Carbonell. He will perform live on stage on Friday evening from 21:30
On Saturday afternoon, pop-rock sensations DÃas de Radio will perform tracks from the 80s and 90s from 13:30. The Saturday night show will be opened by “Epi Epi A!”, a theatrical music group for children's entertainment, performing live from 19:30.
Torrevieja Street Food market, a world of flavours
The evening continues as Control Stone takes to the stage at 22:00. The Rolling Stones tribute band will perform a selection of tracks from the ubiquitous British rock band.
The Liverpool Band take the main stage from 13:30 on Sunday afternoon, performing a selection of songs from the legendary “The Beatles”. Between sets, DJ Ricardo Adriasola will be on-hand to entertain the crowds with chilled-out mixed sets.
Eight vintage food trucks will attend the event, with additional attractions including a vintage market area with fashion, art and design, and an outdoor dining terrace offering more than 100 tables.
The street food market takes place at the Parque de La Estación in Torrevieja on Friday evening from 19:00 until midnight, on Saturday 22nd October from 12:00 until midnight, and finishes on Sunday afternoon from midday until 17:00.
